cl0ckw0rkf0xSo my TL, Jodie, comes by and says apparently I haven't taken any vacation this year, and she needs me to go on vacation next week. This came as bit of a shock, because I thought I'd taken at least some vacation back around Keycon and after new years, but apparently not - there was a stat holiday on keycon monday and I didn't have to take a vacation day.
After I thought about it for a while, I realized the reason I'd been putting it off was because I was waiting for Nathan to be well enough to enjoy travelling, and we could have a honeymoon. But he just hasn't.
But, depressing points aside, I will be on vacation as of 4:00 pm today, head's up.
To do:
clean house
do laundry
do dishes
make ginger snaps and those lemon cream cheese cookies
prepare easy to heat up stuff to eat while doing nanowrimo
get enough of a start on nano that I can make it this year
dance
forget all my login ids
forget how to do my job (good luck on that one, with my MIL, lol)
forget my TL's name
Anyone who would like to join me in any of these activities is forwarned that any and all may be combined with copious amounts of alcohol.
