Shitty week, and it's only Wednesday

Nathan's week has been shittier than mine, I daresay, and mine shitty mostly by proxy. I have a cold, since monday. He's had a cold since sometime last week. Monday he had enough trouble breathing that he went down to urgent care, and they diagnosed him with asthma. Asthma medicine worked. Today, he had another attack, and went to urgent care again, from work this time, because the asthma medicine didn't work. Since he called me to let me know at about 12:30, I figured he'd be home by the time I got home at 5:30. He wasn't, so I went lookin' for him; he was still at Misercordia, waiting to see the doctor. we got home a little after 8:00. Now they're not sure if it's asthma or pneumonia, or both (asthma medicine can relieve symptoms of other respiratory problems, apparently.) The doctor was going to get her hands on the x-rays from monday and see if someone missed something then. It may not have been there yet.

Well, hopefully one of them will work.

... Isn't respiratory troubles a ticked to the head of the queue at an actual EMERGENCY room? Rather then sitting doing nothing for hours and misercordia

This is a supremely asstacular time of year to have athsma. Nathan has my symptathies.
