cl0ckw0rkf0xwe got an air conditioner last week, so the apartment hasn't been quite so hot. Still hot; it's not a real big air conditioner, but it does the trick and makes it comfortable.
And we got a new stove. Our old one was borked. One of the elements didn't work when we moved in, and shortly after the owner checked it to see how hard it would be to fix, two others stopped working. First the building owner was saying he had other old stoves he'd fixed, that he could bring up to our apartment, but the landlady just hadn't gotten to cleaning the one yet like he told her. Then he was saying he got some new stoves. Nathan didn't believe me. He said he probably meant the ones he was fixing up. But then the day before yesterday I saw a brand spankin' new stove sitting in the hallway downstairs, wrapped in the plastic yet and everything, all pretty. They brought it up to our apartment today. I are so happy!
