the beast has been replaced

the black beast possessed by the demon can now rest peacesully in it's box, replaced by a brand spankin' new drop bobbin kenmore sewing machine from sears that does zig sag stitches. (and for those who don't know anything about sewing machines, saying one does zig zag stiches is like one of the most basic things, and they don't even make machines that don't do that and like 20 other stitches. But my old one, the 80 yr old black beast, didn't.)

So, i thought, ok, now i have to finish all these projects I'm in the middle of. And took stock in my head. Wedding dress is finished - obviously. I finished the white sundress a couple months ago. And the little blouse I was working on just has two seams and the hem to do and it's done.

I have a new sewing machine and I can start a NEW PROJECT!

Today's cricket was an unfortunate one.
