Credit card... for Me?
Jan. 29th, 2007 04:41 pmEvery time I go to the bank they offer me a credit card. But the only one I can get approved for is the one that you have to deposit $500 into to use. Which, the only difference between that and interac is they're now going to charge me interest on spending my own money.
Which is what I told they guy from the bank of montreal, who was signing people up for a student credit card.
No, he says, you don't have to carry a balance with this one, and if you're a student, you're automatically approved, it's the U of M student credit card.
Really?
Really.
No, really, really?
Yeah!
Well, ok.
So I signed up, and it's supposed to come in 4-6 weeks, in the mail. And I hereby vow that it will be used only for emergencies, or things on the internet that I can't pay for by paypal, and can pay off right away. Like replacing my broken ipod. There was something else too, I can't remember.
