The music I listen to while I come up with ideas for writing have always affected the outcome and mood of what coalesces in my mind. I've been listening to Evanescence's new album, lately, as the plot of book two and three solidify in my mind. Evanescence is nice and angsty. It's been good for the story.

Though there's one happy song on the album, that's not the one I've been listening to. Good for the story, not so good for the mental health of the characters. It's getting dark, very dark. My mind is rehearsing how to go about utilising the things that I've forshadowed in book one. I mean, the first half of book one was all setup for the second half, but numerous things have happened, even already, that forshadow the nightmares I shall inflict on poor Morgan.

For example, the Mongers very existence. I've described the Keeper awakening; is there any reader who wouldn't be dissapointed if I didn't eventually go into how the Mongers awakened? And really, with the point of view I've chosen, there's only one way to do it....

P.S.: I've come up with titles for Books 1,2, and 3: 1, The Grey Goose and the Grasshopper Queen (this one's not the best and may change, any suggestions are welcome), 2, Two Minds, and 3, The Clockwork Twin.

Now I'm going to go figure out where I left off and see if I can throw together another chapter.
