I think this might be a good place to get things off my chest.

I'll start with my dad's girlfriend. Then I'll work my way up to the people I really really hate. There aren't that many of them.

Carol; my dad's girlfriend. I'm not sure if she's actually still his girlfriend, the whole situation is real sketchy. She's supposed to be looking for someplace to move out to, but that's taken at least a year by now. My Dad's too fucking nice. She a bitch, she makes him miserable, and she blames every problem in the relationship on him, she's a fucking ukranian princess, but he still wants to be the nice guy and not throw her out on her ass. I say her ass could use some bruising.

Her life is ruled by fear. She gets the flu shot because "it just makes me feel so much safer." Bullshit. The flu shot is for the elderly or otherwise immunocompromised. Either you're admitting that you're well over sixty, and not "only as young as you feel" or, I don't know, just admit that you're full of shit and have an anxiety problem. She won't drive after dark either. She cripples herself, with fear. And blames everyone else.

She's been gaining weight since I met her. She eats sweets uncontrollably. She buys every kind of excercise machine in existence, but bitches and complains when she has to walk more than half a block from where dad parks the car.

She thinks pres. Bush is the most wonderful, intelligent president the US has ever had.

She thinks oprah is the end all, be all authority on all things.

She went ballistic on me when I was living with them, over leaving my shampoo and conditioner in the bathtub. This is apparently unnacceptable. Neither is forgetting laundry in the machines overnight. What would you do if I did that? she askes me. Well, Carol, I said, I would remove the laundry and put it in the laundry basket, or in the dryer, depending on whether or not it's wet.

She went ballistic on me when I pointed it out the day she forgot laundry in the machines overnight.

And she goes around telling her and dad's mutual friends what a nasty person he is, while my dad refuses to stoop to that and so gets stuck with a the bad mouthing. I hear my mom did the same thing.

I hope for my dad's sake he gets her out of the house soon. I hope I don't have to invite her to my wedding.
